Senior Product Designer

About the role

Shape the end-to-end experience of Merato for companies, recruiters, and candidates. You'll own design from research through to production pixels — crafting interfaces that make recruiting workflows feel effortless. We care deeply about craft and ship a polished, premium product.

What you'll do

• Lead design for core product areas — role creation, candidate pipelines, recruiter tools
• Conduct user research and translate insights into design decisions
• Create high-fidelity prototypes and production-ready designs in Figma
• Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure design intent is preserved in code
• Evolve and maintain the design system and component library
• Contribute to product strategy through design thinking and user empathy

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of product design experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or marketplaces
• Strong portfolio showing end-to-end product design work
• Expert-level Figma skills including components, variables, and prototyping
• Systems thinking — you design scalable patterns, not one-off screens
• Ability to work autonomously and make confident design decisions
• Clear communication and ability to articulate design rationale

Nice to have

• Experience designing for recruiting, HR, or talent platforms
• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS and component-driven development
• Background in brand design or visual identity work
• Experience working at early-stage startups
