Head of Growth

About the role

Own and scale both sides of the Merato marketplace. You'll build the growth engine from the ground up — acquiring companies that post roles and recruiters who fill them. This is a strategic, hands-on role where you'll move between high-level planning and in-the-weeds execution daily.

What you'll do

  • Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for company and recruiter acquisition
  • Build and optimize acquisition funnels across paid, organic, and outbound channels
  • Develop partnerships with recruiting communities, job boards, and industry networks
  • Analyze marketplace dynamics and balance supply/demand across verticals
  • Set up attribution, analytics, and reporting infrastructure
  • Hire and lead a small growth team as traction scales

What we're looking for

  • 6+ years in growth, marketing, or go-to-market roles
  • Experience scaling a two-sided marketplace or platform
  • Strong analytical skills — comfortable with SQL, spreadsheets, and data tools
  • Track record of building acquisition channels from zero to meaningful scale
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Bias for action — you ship experiments, not decks

Nice to have

  • Experience in recruiting, HR tech, or talent marketplaces
  • Background in B2B SaaS growth or demand generation
  • Familiarity with PLG motions and community-led growth
