Developer Advocate

About the role

Be the bridge between Merato and the recruiting and developer communities. You'll create technical content, build integrations, and help recruiters and companies get the most out of the platform. This role blends engineering, education, and community building.

What you'll do

• Create technical content — blog posts, tutorials, guides, and video walkthroughs
• Build and maintain example integrations and open-source tooling
• Engage with recruiters and developers in communities, forums, and events
• Gather product feedback from users and advocate for improvements internally
• Develop and maintain API documentation and developer resources
• Represent Merato at conferences, meetups, and industry events

What we're looking for

• 3+ years in developer advocacy, developer relations, or a similar role
• Strong software engineering background — can build real applications
• Excellent technical writing and public speaking skills
• Experience creating educational content (blogs, videos, workshops)
• Active presence in developer or tech communities
• Comfort with TypeScript, React, and modern web technologies

Nice to have

• Experience with API design and documentation tools
• Background in recruiting tech or HR industry
• Existing audience or community presence
• Experience building browser extensions or Chrome APIs
